On 23.04.2009 I dispatched one check of Rs. 80,000/- to my brother Nasir Mahmood whose Bank Account is in the same MCB branch in Lahore. This cheque was crossed and I wrote the name and account number of my brother on it. I phone to my brother and told him about the cheque. This cheque did not receive to him and I considered it is lost. I issued another cheque to my brother who went to the MCB Wahdat Road, Lahore to deposit it. He leared the previous cheque has been cashed by some one in MCB Tariq Road Branch Karachi. It is very astonished how this check is cashed when it was crossed.

Media itself is responsible for that. Anti Musharraf sentiments were best sellers and media just acted as a professional to earn maximum and to earn maximum media contributed in increasing political unstability and restlessness in the country. Media didnt serve the nation but just done the business on the emotions of simple people. Anti Mush plititiond are harming homeland more than he did but media is presenting one side story. Media should accept the blunder that misled the whle nation

Everyone knows when it was earthquake in northern area of Pakistan, and every one knows that thousands of people credited a huge amounts in Musharaf's account. And then what was happened??? I have one question to Geo!!! When people were crediting amounts in Musharaf's account that time Geo was at the first showing prople and motivating people to credit more and more, but after that what was happened and where was gone all amount no one knows. GEO is working well in the current circumstances,however from the date of sanctions by the PEMRA till now its working , its objectivity and independence has lost upto vast extetnt. So,there is need to oversee the said comments whether i am right in my short time observation or GEO is working really on the same grounds as prior on the emergency date. First of all My Thanks to Mr Shafiq for publishing this link for us to view GEO in USA and abroad....absolutely My Thanks do not go to GEO because they are not transmitting GEO TV news on their website for us, they only do this for those living in Pakistan. I am sure they are doing good job bringing every possible news to the attention of public. I do not agree with someone who said they bring "justice" ...dear, bringing justice is not their job...justice is served by constitution, law and done by court system. No one shoud take the justice in their own hands in a Democratic country and stop the cruelty of burning live humans in the streets, sorry for those citizens but civilized and cult nations behave differently. Great reviews about this channel. I definitely agree with Mr.Saleem, Pervaiz and Kamal. I am sure they mix their favorite party and own political interests that reflect through their news cast. To me they don't seem to be impartial. So as audience we should not rely 100% on any one news group. The internet is vast, search for the facts and then decide to grab the reality and truth....and use the common sense. Geo is a biased and a hideous Channel which not only injects the ideologies of the Corrupt Nawaz Sharif, but also uses President Mushuraf to boost its viewing by depicting him in a negative light. I live in the UK, and I myself studying Media Studies BA can clearly see the bias that prevails in the news coverage that GEO tv provides for its viewers. It is for this reason, the country is in turmoil because a channel like Geo is misleading viewers and creating a divide within the country...... No wonder Geo tv has been banned not once, but twice during this past year for causing panic on the streets of Pakistan, thus leading to innocent deaths of our civilians.. Another thing, many US viewers have created a petition against Geo because of it's widespread bias in reporting news. Geo's political alligiance is with PPP and PML-N....
Conclusion, intelligent viewers need to see the other side of the story and not just the one side. In order to get a full picture, switch to ARY OneWorld, PTV News or Dawn News ... These are more reliable... Long live Pakistan and long live the President......
REMEMBER- GEO Tv are only interested in provoking chaos and panic on the Pakistan Streets, so that it can give them immense viewership and a story to cover. They choose money over Lives....

I am so ashamed and embarrassed to hear our majority of politicians on national/international TV and Radio. Its their way they express the nonsense ideas to the public. Do they think that the public is stupid,if so they are out of their minds.Our public could be poor but very knowledgeable. Most of them (politicians) you listen to their speaches have no sense of communication or coordination of their beliefs ,either they have no education, communication skills or I think they lack full control/command of the language,Urdu or English. When they start saying for example " wo cheeze hum jante hein" what the hell is "cheeze" . Use words to distinguish facts and to explain your ideas. I feel so frustrated seeing our lovely country in the hands of illiterates and uneducated politicised,money hungry politicians.

I have been searching for the geo news online since long; but really was not able to get connected to. However, i found this link today and am enjoying it. I am abroad (US) and here i am able to keep pace with all the updated news through this link.
It really is awesome. i really appreciate the efforts of Mr Shafeeq for enabling many Pakistani citizens both in Pakistan and abroad to stay tuned.

Well there is a difference between any Pakistani involved in Mumbai attacks and Pakistan itself (government) involved in them. Therefore it is not the right phrase that "Pakistan is responsible for all Mumbai attacks."
it is said what ever happened in India out of terrorrists acts; but would you please take a look at such attacks in Pakistan for the last three years. Figures cross even Afghanistan and Iraq and death toll is more than any other countries on the globe out of suicide attacks and terrorrist acts in Pakistan.
We are facing all these difficulties here and are fighting against them at each front. It would be silly on the part of any government to blame for Mumbai attacks. The need of hour is to work together to root out this menace from South Asia.
Third parties wana take advantage of non friendly and hostile relations between Pakistan and India, which would give the culprits chance to advance their sinister designs. Therefore both these countries should go for joint investigation of Mumbai attacks and hold the bad guys truly responsible for that, irrespective of the fact whether they are from Pakistan, India or being sponsored by some other country(ies).

On 23.04.2009 I dispatched one check of Rs. 80,000/- to my brother Nasir Mahmood whose Bank Account is in the same MCB branch in Lahore. This cheque was crossed and I wrote the name and account number of my brother on it. I phone to my brother and told him about the cheque. This cheque did not receive to him and I considered it is lost. I issued another cheque to my brother who went to the MCB Wahdat Road, Lahore to deposit it. He leared the previous cheque has been cashed by some one in MCB Tariq Road Branch Karachi. It is very astonished how this check is cashed when it was crossed.

it is said what ever happened in India out of terrorrists acts; but would you please take a look at such attacks in Pakistan for the last three years. Figures cross even Afghanistan and Iraq and death toll is more than any other countries on the globe out of suicide attacks and terrorrist acts in Pakistan.
We are facing all these difficulties here and are fighting against them at each front. It would be silly on the part of any government to blame for Mumbai attacks. The need of hour is to work together to root out this menace from South Asia.
Third parties wana take advantage of non friendly and hostile relations between Pakistan and India, which would give the culprits chance to advance their sinister designs. Therefore both these countries should go for joint investigation of Mumbai attacks and hold the bad guys truly responsible for that, irrespective of the fact whether they are from Pakistan, India or being sponsored by some other country(ies).

if the punishment is according to Islam and given after taking all measures then its correct and we should say it right. NOw come on second point of veiw, why after two months there are people who wanna put such thing on air through news chanals, What if its an effort to let the country down, an effort to destabilized the law and order situation in Sawat again, an effort to encourage the foreign forces to penetrate into the coutry by making such incidets an issue to destabilize Pakistan. I do like to put my request to Geo TV and other News Chanals Please dont hilight the Issue so much that it become a reason to let the contry put in foreign hands.

Aur yeh dunyia mein pakistan ka naam roshan ker raha hai, I like geo very much, Laken geo ko is bat ka khayal rakhna chahe k pakistan mein jo kam acha ho raha hai us ko appreciate kerna chahe. for example hum sub umeed se hain, ager pakistan mein roti 1 rupee ki ho rehi hai yeh bar bar us ko negative k thor per dikha rehe hai, aur isi tara ager shiree rehman nai media k haq mein resine diya hai us ko b negative dikha raha hain, Bass is bat k khayal rakhy, over all geo si very good channel of the world.

Would you please remove the comments and block the users which use indecent language. I am particularly pointing to 'Abu Altaf MQM'. I agree he/she has the right to oppose anyone but in a decent way. I am also a big critic of Altaf Hussain (MQM)but I never used such language.
